Traffic Overview
Traffic Fatehabad Police, has a separate Traffic Police Station and its office is situated at NH-9 Near Dhangar. Traffic Police Stations is working under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Fatehabad. The incharge of Police Station Traffic is an officer rank of Inspector.
Traffic Enforcement:- Sufficient number of Police Officials have been posted as per BPRD norms in traffic staff.
Awareness programme are being organized for general public, student and road users about traffic rules on continuously basis. Traffic Challan are being made against the violators rules specially traffic laws violations by two wheelers, cars & taxies, trucks over speeding without helmets and non-wearing of seat belt.
Main Highways/State Highways:- There is a 02 National Highways named NH-9 & NH-148B & 02 State Highway named SH No. 02 Or SH No-21 falling in District Fatehabad. Sincere and arduous efforts are being made by the district police administration to reduce road accident and to save precious lives of the peoples. In case of road accidents to provide all possible assistance is being given to the accident victims as soon as possible. Total 02 four (01 Bulero, 01 Ambulance) police vehicles are patrolling on National Highways NH-9 round the 24 hours on various areas for smooth traffic and reduction of road accident in District Fatehabad.
Trauma Care:- 04 Trauma Care centre i.e. Umeed Hospital Trauma Center Fatehabad, Sadbhawna Hospital Trauma Center Fatehabad,Life Care Hospital Trauma Center Fatehabad, RMC Hospital Trauma Center Tohana has already been functioning in this district smoothly. The aim is to ensure proper trauma care to the victims of road accidents with in minimum possible time. Police department is being collected the data of the taken by the ambulance to reach the spot and evacuate the accident victims to the nearest Hospital/Trauma centre, survival rate in various Hospitals.
Challaning Branch:-
03 challaning branch has also been established at the Ground Floor of E-Disha cender Fatehabad, Ground Floor of E-Disha cender Ratia & First Floor of E-Disha cender Tohana. All challans of M.V. Act are compounded in this branch.
The main object of Fatehabad Traffic Police is to provide better traffic management to commuters and reduce accident and make Fatehabad roads safe, smooth and friendly.
